Capacitating and equipping through SALT Imbizos
A key part of SALT Alliance's mandate is to equip change agents in the work they are doing in their communities. This ranges from agriculture, capacitating women, providing healthcare, HIV and TB prevention, health education, after school programmes, working with youth, to stimulating job creation and employment.
SALT meets at least once a year to address specific topics around one of these areas, as well as invest in leadership, character development, accountability and sharing of information:
2022 - leadership and organisational health
2021 - food distribution and networking
2020 - responding to the COVID-19 pandemic
2019 - empowering young men and women to address challenges they face in their communities. Read more
